About The Role
We are seeking a systems-oriented and research-driven
Senior UX Designer to lead the design of responsive sportsbook and iGaming products. In this role, you will craft seamless player experiences and streamline complex gaming interactions, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and customer support. You'll bring speed, structure, and consistency to our design process while championing user needs in a feedback-rich, fast-paced environment.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – in-office a few days per week preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 CAD base salary, plus bonus opportunities based on KPIs
Responsibilities
- Design responsive, end-to-end user experiences for sportsbook and iGaming platforms
- Build scalable component libraries in Figma, using Auto Layout, Variables, tokens, and styles
- Conduct design QA via browser developer tools to ensure front-end accuracy
- Run competitive analysis and streamline noisy or complex user flows
- Work with existing design systems (e.g., Tailwind, ShadCN) and customize as needed
- Identify when to build custom components for unique functionality
- Compile and synthesize user feedback using FigJam or similar tools for rapid iteration
- Collaborate with PMs and treat them as strategic thought partners
- Maintain clear IA diagrams in Figma to document feature flows and systems
- Deliver fast, test often, and iterate based on user and stakeholder feedback
- Communicate design decisions clearly while remaining open to critique
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience, ideally within sports betting, casino, or interactive entertainment
- Advanced Figma expertise, including reusable components, design tokens, and libraries
- Strong understanding of responsive design and Auto Layout
- Comfortable reading and inspecting HTML/CSS
- Experience in fast-paced, iterative product environments
- Proven ability to simplify complex journeys without compromising functionality
- Strong foundation in UX heuristics, wireframing, prototyping, and user validation
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, ShadCN, or other modern UI frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and a user-first mindset
- Able to think in systems and clearly explain your rationale
- Based in Toronto or willing to relocate (relocation support available)
