Design Verification Manager

Location: Singapore

Overview:

I am seeking an experienced Design Verification Manager to lead a high-performing verification team. The role involves driving the deployment of advanced verification methodologies across complex SoC designs. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure first-time-right silicon.

This may also suit a Senior Staff level Engineer keen on taking the next step in their career.

You will join a leading global developer of advanced digital imaging technologies, this company specializes in the design and manufacture of image sensors and related solutions. It serves a wide range of markets including mobile, automotive, medical, and security. Known for pushing the boundaries of pixel miniaturization and image quality, it provides innovative CMOS imaging solutions that power cameras in smartphones, autonomous vehicles, endoscopy devices, and other embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a verification team applying state-of-the-art methodologies including UVM, C/C++ co-simulation, system emulation, mixed-mode simulation, and formal verification
• Review verification test plans thoroughly and ensure timely, high-quality execution
• Strive for zero-defect silicon through rigorous, intelligent approaches to verification challenges

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of SoC design principles, including IP integration and system-level verification
• Proven experience in developing and executing verification test plans
• Hands-on familiarity with ASIC verification tools and flows
• Expertise in UVM-based methodologies
• Proficiency in C and/or scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Highly disciplined, quality-focused, and driven to achieve technical excellence
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (BSEE/MSEE)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in RTL design
• Exposure to video processing and analytics
• Passion and strength in general-purpose programming

To be eligible for the role you must be prepared to work onsite 4 days per week.

Salary: 10,000 – 14,000 SGD per month.

Relocation and Visa sponsorship can be provided.
