Role Description

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team in a full-time, fully remote capacity. In this role, you'll help design, develop, and maintain the server-side logic that powers our new AI tools platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable APIs and backend services
• Develop and maintain database schemas and queries
• Create and optimize server-side applications
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
• Experience with Python (Django experience preferred)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Knowledge of database technologies and SQL
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
• Version control expertise (Git)
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS or GCP)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
