What is the job about?
We’re looking for a Content Writer to craft compelling stories and strategic content across our marketing channels. From thought-leadership blogs and SEO web content to B2B documentation and video scripts, your words will support and promote our energy and environmental services.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal experts to turn technical insights into powerful narratives that connect with businesses and inspire action.
What exactly will you do?
- Research and write high-quality content for print and digital channels (blogs, whitepapers, website, social media, etc.)
- Plan and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with strategic marketing goals
- Tailor content to different platforms and audience needs — from blog posts to product pages, from email copy to video scripts
- Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and consistency
- Optimise content for SEO to maximise online visibility and lead generation
- Apply a deep understanding of our brand and mission to produce content that’s both engaging and informative
- Leverage emerging AI-powered writing, editing, and analytics tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, Surfer SEO) to enhance content quality and efficiency
- Stay current with digital content trends, tech innovations, and AI applications in marketing to continuously improve content strategy
What we’re looking for
- A proven track record of excellent writing — backed by a strong portfolio
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Impeccable English writing and editing skills, including grammar, idioms, and contemporary tone
- Strong research skills and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, readable copy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and content collaboration tools
- A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills
- A tech-savvy attitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new content technologies, platforms, and AI tools
- Experience or interest in exploring automation, content intelligence, or data-driven writing enhancements
Bonus points if you have:
- A master’s degree in a related field
- Experience in the Utilities or Energy sector
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimisation strategies
- Experience with WordPress, Monday.com, Jira, or similar platforms
- Experience writing scripts for video content
- Familiarity with data-driven performance analysis (KPIs, engagement metrics)
