Ruby on Rails Developer in PHILIPPINES

This is a remote position.

Our focus is on developing the very best mobile and web applications and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are currently looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to add to our growing team.

Work Schedule:

10 hours/day from to Thursday with a 6-hour overlap (3pm-9pm PH Time) with the team in Berlin & Australia

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance innovative products that optimize workflows for both consultants and clients.
• Utilize the latest version of Ruby on Rails, leveraging Hotwire and integrating third-party APIs to deliver high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate closely with a small, dynamic team to shape the technology stack and drive product development.
• Contribute to the ideation and implementation of new features, improvements, and cutting-edge technologies to elevate product offerings.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency across the codebase.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in web development to continuously improve the platform and team capabilities.

Requirements

Ideal candidates SHOULD have the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing production-grade applications with Ruby on Rails, with at least 1 year of experience working on Rails 7 applications.
• Experience with Hotwire and its components (Turbo and Stimulus.js), including practical implementation in building dynamic and real-time user interfaces.
• Familiarity with key technologies used in our stack, or a willingness to learn:
• Frontend: Stimulus.js
• UI Framework: Tailwind CSS
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Interest in exploring and working with leading AI systems.
• Possess a growth mindset and thrive in the dynamic environment of a fast-growing organization with a global presence.
• Demonstrate strong aptitude as a quick and adaptable learner.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Highly self-organized, capable of effectively contributing in a remote work environment.
