About Our Global Communications Team
Our Kiwi.com global communications team is a small and talented team responsible for big things! With a global remit that includes brand communication, media relations and reputation management, our team is supported by a network of PR agencies at a local level in key European markets. Telling the story behind the business outcomes, we make sure our customers and partners are kept up to date with Kiwi.com’s exciting milestones and market activity.
What You Will Do
- You will work across a broad range of public and media relations projects including: consumer campaigns, press office and media relations tasks, reporting, analysis and monitoring as well as crisis management work
- Utilizing your advanced writing skills, you will draft press releases and supporting materials (Q&As, statements, media briefs etc)
- You’ll support on Kiwi.com media events and press trips, this includes traveling within Europe for press events, as well as for team meetings and company events
- Working as part of a team, you’ll collaborate with other comms functions and departments to ensure consistent messaging across our business
- You’ll network with Kiwi.com stakeholders to gather valuable insights into the development of products and services and significant business updates
- You’ll research, collect and analyze internal data related to consumer travel behavior's to develop PR angles and news hooks
- Utilizing media monitoring software, you’ll track and analyze media coverage, monitor competitors and industry trends
- You will keep company information up to date on the website and within master templates for presentations and external speaker guides
- You’ll manage our global comms content on social media platforms and create insightful content for Kiwi.com’s media room
What You Will Need
- Significant skills and experience within international public relations gained in an agency or in-house consumer brand context
- Demonstrated skills in media relations including managing media relationships, responding to enquiries and developing newsworthy press releases and briefing materials
- Excellent writing skills with the proven ability to draft high quality media relations materials and craft compelling copy for social media platforms
- For this role you’ll need to bring your strong editing skills and demonstrate your ability to cut through the noise to accurately represent Kiwi.com’s tone of voice - ChatGPT won’t cut it!
- From your experience using media monitoring software, you will bring skills in analyzing data and building relevant and insightful reporting
- You are fluent in English (C1+ level) and comfortable with English as your primary working language. Additional European language skills are great - but not required.
- Experience with data-led PR or journalism or experience in consumer tech or travel sectors would help you get up to speed even more quickly in this role!
