Senior Java Developer with Microservices and AI in BULGARIA

We are seeking a highly motivated Back-end Developer passionate about tackling complex technical challenges and eager to expand their expertise with emerging technologies. In this position, you'll utilize Java or Kotlin alongside Quarkus within a microservices architecture, contributing to the integration and deployment of AI-powered features.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tailored Java solutions for our clients within an Agile development framework.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle: analyze requirements, design, code, debug, test, and document, with a continuous focus on performance optimization.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to seamlessly integrate machine learning models into production environments.
• Develop and maintain APIs and data pipelines to connect AI models with Java-based backend services.
• Work closely with client business and IT departments to craft customized solutions, adapting to specific needs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Contribute to the establishment and refinement of development and organizational best practices.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in implementing solutions using microservices architecture, RESTful web services, and web APIs.
• Proficiency in microservices design and containerization techniques.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools, such as GitHub Copilot's agent mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
• Experience in integrating machine learning models into production applications.
• Knowledge of messaging brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with application stacks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, and observability tools like Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• DevOps experience, including Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Helm, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
