Software Engineer X2
FULL REMOTE - must reside in Atlantic or NFLD Time zones (AST/NST)
We're seeking two passionate software engineers for our exclusive client who is in need of two SW Engineers to grow their current pods. These are 12 month contracts with a high chance of extension with solid performance. They are full remote positions with immense flexibility. You'll be expected to work 40 hours per week and attend noted team meetings while your actual own work can be done around your schedule. Note that the hourly rates are for incorporated consultants (if TERM preferred we'll advise on the rate later).
One position is purely back end (Python) while having some fullstack capabilities is an asset. The bigger additional need here is some form of integration with payment platforms, ideally Stripe, but PayPal or others are a nice to have.
The other position is highly frontend (React) while knowing Python is an asset.
Additional assets:
· Strong fundamentals of working with a range of storage engines (MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.)
· Experience in using version control.
· Experience with Docker.
· Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience with Agile methodologies, namely Kanban and Scrum.
