Role Overview: Seeking an ambitious Senior SEO Expert to lead comprehensive SEO strategies aiming for #1 rankings for critical keywords. You'll manage all SEO aspects: technical, on-page, off-page, and strategic content integration, including direct content creation/optimization for key assets. Requires deep SEO expertise, proven ranking success, and strong content skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• SEO Audits & Strategy: Conduct full SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page, content). Develop data-driven SEO strategies & roadmaps with KPIs for #1 rankings. Define & monitor key SEO metrics.

• Technical SEO: Resolve complex technical SEO issues (site architecture, crawlability, indexation). Lead site speed optimization (Core Web Vitals), mobile-friendliness, structured data/schema implementation, international SEO, and migration oversight. Use log file analysis.

• On-Page, Content SEO & Content Crafting: Perform in-depth keyword research and mapping. Optimize on-page elements (titles, metas, headers, URLs). Champion and directly create/refine "great content" (strategic SEO pieces, briefs, edits) ensuring it's authoritative, engaging, user-valuable, and SEO-optimized. Collaborate with writers (including PhDs) ensuring content meets SEO, accuracy, and E-E-A-T standards.

• Off-Page SEO & Authority: Execute ethical, high-impact link-building. Conduct competitor backlink analysis. Manage outreach & digital PR. Monitor backlink health; mitigate risks.

• Analytics & Reporting: Manage/derive insights from GA4 & SEO tools (GSC, Semrush, Ahrefs). Report on SEO performance & #1 ranking progress. Translate data into actionable recommendations. Stay updated on algorithm changes; lead penalty recovery efforts.

• Collaboration: Guide dev teams on technical SEO. Partner with content teams for SEO-embedded content. Align with marketing/social media for cohesive strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of dedicated SEO experience with a strong portfolio of #1 ranking achievements and significant organic traffic growth.

• Strategic SEO Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies for market-leading visibility.

• Advanced Technical SEO: Expertise in site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, mobile-first, structured data, international SEO, migrations, log file analysis.

• Expert On-Page & Content SEO: Mastery of keyword research, content optimization for users/search engines, topical authority building, on-page element optimization.

• Exceptional Content Writing & Optimization: Ability to write clear, compelling, SEO-driven content (key pages, meta copy, briefs) and significantly refine content by others for maximum SEO impact and user engagement. Deep understanding of "great content" principles.

• Effective Off-Page SEO: Success in ethical link building and domain authority enhancement.

• Data Analysis & SEO Tool Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog.

• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent English communication (written/verbal) for complex SEO/content concepts.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, proactive learner, able to manage multiple projects remotely.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, CS, or Business preferred.
