About the company:

Our client is one of the biggest international telecommunication companies in Europe. They have offices all over the world with their technology center in The Netherlands. With around 400+ engineers and 50+ different nationalities this relatively new center is safeguarding their future growth and potential as global entity.

They are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Observability team, which manages the observability stack for the entire organization across more than 350 Kubernetes clusters. This is not a plug-and-play setup, everything is heavily customized for maximum performance and scalability.

Your role:

• 50% operational: Maintain a massive, business-critical observability landscape;
• 50% engineering: Build, automate and evolve the observability stack;
• Work in a team that builds for engineers, by engineers, you'll be enabling reliability across the entire company.

We are looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer;
• Deep expertise with custom implementations of Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and the LGTM stack using Helm Charts;
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, preferable experience in designing and building Operators with Python or Go;
• Proven experience in large-scale, multi-tenant environments
