What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop & maintain server-side applications with Node.js, leveraging AI code assistants
- Design & implement RESTful APIs with AI-friendly architectures
- Deploy, manage & optimize on AWS using IaC patterns (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, IAM)
- Implement & tune vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) for AI workloads
- Engineer RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Deploy, fine-tune & monitor LLM models on distributed cloud infra
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to craft cohesive AI-powered experiences
- Maintain high code quality via AI-assisted code reviews & version control
- Document backend systems for both human & AI consumption
Must-Haves
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- AI-augmented development experience (Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, etc.)
- Expertise in prompt engineering for code generation & debugging
- Proven CI/CD pipeline implementation & optimization
- Deep AWS hands-on: EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, IAM/security best practices
- Python for ML integration & deployment
- Solid modern API design principles
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Fluency with Git workflows
- Ability to translate LLM capabilities into practical engineering solutions
