This company are one of the biggest and most successful businesses within their niche FinTech market space and have massive plans to build brand new Tech, Data & Delivery teams in 2025. This has come off the back of a hugely successful 10+ years where they have established themselves in multiple countries and picked up numerous awards within the industry.

They partner with some of the biggest global FinTech companies and process lots of different data variants which is where this role comes in. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to their growing data platform, where they develop infrastructure for their data finance product suite. You will ideally have come from a FinTech background, have good previous experience working as a Data Engineer and have worked with the majority of skills listed below.

This role is based in Malaga, Spain and they are looking for people with Russian & English language skills which will help bridge the communication gap across various global teams. They can offer a relocation package to Spain and once started, would require you to work 2 days a week in their Central Malaga offices!

Role Responsibilities:

• Have a minimum of 3 years previous experience as a Data Engineer.
• Excellent understanding and experience of using Python.
• Have worked with Apache Airflow / Airflow DAGS.
• Develop SQL queries.
• Design, Develop & Test ETL processes.
• Confident handling PoC projects.
• Additional Skills: AWS, DBT, MPP, Prometheus, Linux.
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work across global teams.
• Looking to step up into a more Senior role, if not already.
• Confident Russian & English language skills.

Salary: €60,000-€100,000
