Operations Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operations Analyst to join our Operations and Reporting team. This team works collaboratively with several teams at both LegalSight and its U.S.-based sister company.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that transform complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI with knowledge of complementary technologies such as Python, Excel, ETL processes, and SQL. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that drive data-informed decision making.

This is a fully remote position and requires OVERNIGHT hours. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 6:00PM Eastern Standard Time (9:00PM - 6:00PM Philippine time).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively visualize key business metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Create and maintain data models, including relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures using DAX.
• Implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it appropriately, and load it into data models.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and proper documentation of reports and dashboards.
• Optimize report performance for efficient data processing and user experience.
• Automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and report issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and manipulation
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, functions, and data analysis
• Experience connecting to and integrating multiple data sources (databases, APIs, flat files)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of data governance and security principles
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
