We are in Daejeon, a city celebrated for its technology and research institutions, which allows us to foster a rich learning environment where students can gain invaluable hands-on experience. Position:

-      Tenure-track Professor: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor

-      Non-Tenure track Professor: Visiting Professor (1-year renewable contract)

 

Start Date:

September 1, 2025

 

Who can apply?

●    Candidates who hold a Ph.D. in any area of business from a reputed doctoral program

●    Promising ABD candidates will be considered

 

Teaching Areas:

Management

○    Courses: Introduction to Business, Managerial Economics, Asian Management, HRM, Managing Diversity in workplace, Business Consulting, Project Management

Marketing

○    Courses: Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Communication, Strategic Marketing, Marketing Analytic

Business Statistics/Business Analysis

○    Courses: Statistics, Managerial Decision Modelling & Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Visualization & Exploratory Analytics, Statistical modelling and inferences, Regression Analysis, Machine Learning

Finance

○    Courses: Corporate Finance, Financial Management, M&A, Investment Analysis, Commercial Banking

Technology

○    Courses: Blockchain Technology & Cryptocurrency, Blockchain Technology & Finance, Computer Programming (Python / other languages)


Courses are tentative and may be adjusted based on academic planning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

●    Teach 3-4 courses (9-12 credits) per semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels and participate in the development of the programs (candidates with a strong research portfolio can receive a lower teaching load of 3 courses per semester)

●    Carry out research activities aimed at publication in high quality academic journals;

●    Contribute to the development of a research culture in the school;

●    Represent and promote SolBridge in their academic networks

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for applicants committed to teaching face-to-face, high-quality scholarship, and service to the school and to the academic community.

 

Compensation & Benefits

●    Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.

●    Free housing provided for international faculty (subject to availability).

●    Affiliation with the Korean national health insurance system.

●    Enrollment in the Korean Teachers' Pension Plan.

●    Visa sponsorship (E-1 Visa) for international faculty.

●    One-way airfare to Korea reimbursed for those relocating from abroad (depending on contract conditions).
