WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
GMV is looking for a highly motivated
front-end or full stack developer for its activities in the areas of Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM), including related engineering activities. GMV is a leading company in the space sector, particularly in Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM). We are looking for people who bring new ideas, new ways of working and, above all, a passion for challenges.
As a developer, you will work on the
implementation of web applications for specific projects related to SST and STM. Space Traffic Management (STM) is becoming an increasingly relevant topic in the space sector due to the need to manage the traffic of the population of objects orbiting the Earth, both space debris and operational satellites, which is currently growing and is expected to increase even more dramatically due to the launch of megaconstellations.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
For this position we are looking for
software engineers. The successful candidate will join GMV's multidisciplinary SSA team located in various countries, with several projects currently underway.
In particular, the successful candidate will be required to work on the following
tasks:
- Design and implementation of the web user interface, basically using Java Sript (Node JS).
- Data model design
- Development of new functionalities on the backend side of an architecture based on microservices and Kafka.
