Do you have the drive for sales and excellent communication skills? We are recruiting for an Weddings and Events Coordinator at Oatlands Park Hotel, a luxury 4-star hotel in Weybridge, Surrey.

What will you do?


Reporting to the Meetings & Events Sales Office Manager and Director of Sales, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Objectives set by the Meetings & Events Manager and Director of Sales.


You will provide a highly professional and efficient standard of service to our customers. You will effectively mediate between the Weddings and Events operations and to achieve maximum profit and maximum guest satisfaction.


You will ensure the facilities of the hotel are sold in a professional manner and to provide accurate coordination of customer events by maintaining continuity of contact between clients and the hotel.


Main Responsibilities


  • To ensure the Conference & Banqueting Operational team prepare and distribute accurate and timely information to all relevant operational departments, with regard to client requirements.
  • Responsible for the wedding and some of the Events' tours of the hotel.
  • Meet and greet function organisers and Wedding party guests on arrival. Ensure a full introduction is completed and that their requests are dealt with.
  • Ensure that all details on the event order are delivered.
  • Follow up with issues which may arise from an event or wedding order and room allocations. Rectify any issues as soon as possible.
  • Maintain master file of Wedding & Banquet functions.
  • Ensure rooms, quality of food and final set-up are inspected regularly alongside the C&B Operations Manager and Restaurant & Bar Manager.
  • Ensure all equipment requests are fulfilled.
  • Ensure that wedding and events material stock is maintained.
  • Conduct quality and service standards questionnaires with all events/wedding parties.
  • Alongside the C&B Operations Manager and Restaurant & Bar Manager, ensure that all operational teams are fully trained in the different cultural expectations and partner preferences and act accordingly.
  • Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including: demonstrating a 'service' attitude, taking appropriate action to resolve guests' complaints, maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the guests' experience, anticipate guests' needs, accurately and promptly fulfilling guests' requests, and being attentive to guests.
  • Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attitudes to all internal stakeholders.
  • To assist other members of the Sales team as required.
  • Achieve the hotel targets for weddings.

Working hours


This is a full-time role working from Tuesday to Saturday.
