Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (L1/L2/L3) – MSP Experience Required


Location: Fully Remote (EST Time zone)


Job Type: Full-Time

Are you a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment? We are a US-based MSP looking for a highly motivated individual to join our remote team and provide exceptional IT support to our clients. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and have expertise in troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote IT support to clients, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support end-users with Windows, Mac, and cloud-based applications.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other IT systems.
  • Respond to and resolve tickets within established SLAs.
  • Deploy and maintain security measures, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and documenting IT environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues (L2/L3 as needed).
  • Proactively identify and address recurring IT issues to improve efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in an MSP environment (Mandatory).
  • Experience supporting Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools such as ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, or similar.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, firewalls, and backup solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Availability to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
  • Knowledge of VoIP, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
