Junior Power Analyst
Due to our continuing expansion, an exciting position has opened up in our Power Trading Team for a Junior Power Analyst. This role will offer the opportunity to work, learn, and grow alongside experienced professional traders and analysts, directly contributing to the Team’s success on the markets.
The successful candidate will work on developing European Power Markets models, simulating supply and demand scenarios and contributing to trading strategies. A strong business acumen is required, as is a passion for quantitative development, given the necessity for continuous interaction with Traders, Meteorologists, Analysts and IT developers.
Requirements:
Ideally you will have 1/2 years of experience in an analytical environment with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Quantitative Economics/Finance with solid academic training. Strong data analysis and coding skills (Python, SQL) are a must. You will be fluent in English and a second European language will be considered a plus. Although not absolutely necessary, experience in the power market analysis or energy fields would be advantageous.
