We are looking for an experienced Release Automation Engineer to join team of our client. This role is a dynamic blend of DevOps engineering, release management, and infrastructure/environment management, ensuring seamless software delivery and operational excellence.
About the Role
As a Release Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading release delivery, driving automation, and enhancing team efficiency through process improvements, tooling, and infrastructure optimizations. Your work will directly impact stability, capacity, reliability, and supportability across both production and non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate software releases and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance automation in build and deployment processes.
- Optimize infrastructure and environment management to improve performance and reliability.
- Implement and refine processes, tooling, and IT platforms to boost team productivity.
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to ensure smooth release execution.
What We’re Looking For
Essential skills & experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer, Release Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or another scripting language, with a focus on process automation and Windows OS.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical teams and business users.
Desirable skills:
- Hands-on experience with Git, TeamCity, MSSQL, Nolio, GitLab, Chef.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and experience using ServiceNow.
- Previous experience in a service-oriented environment.
