About the Role:

As an Operations Manager (Card Acquiring), you will need to oversee and improve the company's card acquiring operations. The ideal candidate will need to have in - depth knowledge of the card acquiring industry, strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the card acquiring process, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows;
• Manage transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely completion;
• Lead and develop a high-performing operations team;
• Conduct performance reviews regularly and provide ongoing training and support to team members;
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, PCI DSS standards, and company policies;
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with card acquiring activities, implementing controls to prevent fraud and security threats;
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality;
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations and support business growth;
• Manage relationships with banks, payment processors, and other partners;
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure favorable terms and high-quality service;
• Ensure the operations team provides excellent support to merchants, resolving issues promptly and effectively;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and improve their experience;
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including transaction volumes, processing times, and error rates;
• Use data analytics to identify trends, monitor performance, and inform decision-making;
• Participate in projects related to new product launches, system upgrades, and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in operations management within the card acquiring or payments industry;
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities;
• Familiarity with card acquiring systems, payment processing technologies, and industry regulations;
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret and act on complex data sets;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
