🚨 The technical challenge: Build the brains of tomorrow’s tramways

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on the development and deployment of embedded software solutions for tramway control systems. You’ll work in a critical, fast-paced international environment, tackling real-world challenges from design to commissioning.

🎯 Your mission:

• Design and develop embedded software using Control Build
• Model systems in MATLAB / Simulink, particularly for projects based in Charleroi
• Contribute to the integration of TCMS (Train Control & Monitoring Systems)
• Work on power electronics topics and traction converters
• Support commissioning and testing phases
• Take ownership of technical topics and collaborate with international teams

👤 Your profile:

• Background in embedded electronics, automation, or embedded software engineering
• At least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in the rail industry (tram, metro, train, etc.) is a strong plus
• Exposure to certified or safety-critical environments is highly valued (e.g., EN 50128)

🧰 Technical skills:

• Control Build → mandatory
• MATLAB / Simulink → essential for Charleroi projects
• Experience with TCMS, traction converters, and commissioning → strong assets
• Interest in power electronics
• Fluent in both French and English
