Who we are looking for:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and proactive Communications & Events Manager to oversee both internal communications and event coordination. This role requires someone who can manage communication across departments, handle multiple digital tools, and execute events from start to finish. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, have strong organizational skills, and enjoy bringing people together through clear messaging and impactful experiences, this role is for you.


What you'll do:

Internal & External Communications:

  • Manage communication strategy across the organization, including web, blog, and social media updates
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms
  • Draft and distribute internal communications and updates for various departments
  • Coordinate with team leads to ensure communication aligns with departmental needs

Email & Text Campaigns:

  • Create, manage, and distribute campaigns using Mailchimp and Textly
  • Design content that communicates clearly and professionally to targeted internal groups
  • Monitor engagement and make recommendations for improvement

Event Management:

  • Oversee 4–5 internal events per year, managing logistics from concept to execution
  • Use C-Vent software to handle event registration, guest lists, communications, and ticketing
  • Coordinate with venues, vendors, and design teams for event planning, menus, and budgets
  • Respond to inquiries and manage updates through the event support system

Content & Design Support:

  • Collaborate with design vendors to ensure timely production of creative assets
  • Provide light graphic design support using Adobe InDesign
  • Support the marketing team in streamlining processes and maintaining project timelines


What you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, event planning, or related fields
  • Proven experience with Mailchimp, C-Vent, and internal communication tools
  • Working knowledge of Textly or other SMS marketing platforms
  • Basic proficiency in graphic design (Adobe InDesign)
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Bonus: Experience working with remote teams and collaborating across departments
