Release Manager in CANADA

Our client is seeking a Release Manager with strong SAP rollout experience to support a major multi-country SAP implementation. This is not a purely technical role — we need someone at the project manager level who can drive alignment, coordinate across complex environments, and ensure readiness across the business. This opportunity is offered remotely with an initial term of 12-months, and likely to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end release coordination and readiness for SAP rollout across multiple regions
• Ensure business units are trained, VPN/firewall access is functional, SAP logins are in place
• Confirm all testing, print readiness, and reporting functions are validated and operational
• Work with system owners to confirm integration points across banking, trucking, and other systems
• Plan and drive execution of detailed workplans across all stakeholder groups
• Coordinate across multiple system integrators (truck system vendor, banking systems, etc.)
• Ensure successful Day One readiness — all systems and users go live without disruption
• Collaborate with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team and vendors

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience managing SAP releases in large-scale, greenfield environments
• Comfortable working in chaotic, fast-moving environments
• Proven track record coordinating across multiple vendors and system integrators
• Strong project and program management capabilities
• Experience supporting business readiness in environments where users are new to SAP
• Familiarity with complex system integrations and cross-functional testing

• Preference will be given to candidates who are currently in Calgary with proper working permission to work in Canada.
