Monthly salary: $3,800 - $4,500


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Development of Our Web Platform: Drive end-to-end feature development and performance improvements using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, REST, React (antD), and AWS. Work within their existing architecture while ensuring scalable, efficient solutions. Take ownership of deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS-based infrastructure to maintain reliability and performance.
  • Manage Development Process: Oversee other developers, guiding technical decisions and ensuring alignment across projects. Take responsibility for task management, prioritization, and keeping development on schedule to deliver features efficiently and on time.
  • Integrate with Desktop & Enterprise Solutions: Collaborate with the .NET team and external platforms to maintain consistent data structures, ensure seamless data exchange, and preserve schema alignment across systems.
  • Optimize Infrastructure: Manage MongoDB data models, media transcoding workflows, and ensure high performance and scalability within their AWS infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues—from service outages to integration challenges—while providing technical guidance to their internal support team to help resolve customer-reported issues efficiently.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel on site to their office in Michigan, USA, visit with North American customers to see how your code runs on actual hardware, and attend trade shows to learn about the industry. Plan on 2-4 international trips per year.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of full-stack web development (Node.js/TypeScript/React) and experience leading teams or projects.
  • Database Skills with both MongoDB solutions and relational databases.
  • API & Cloud Expertise including RESTful APIs, AWS services, and deployment pipelines.
  • UI Framework Proficiency in React and experience with antD or similar component libraries.
  • Collaboration Mindset: Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with .NET developers, hardware engineers, and support teams, including remote team members. Able to communicate effectively using Slack, async documentation, and other collaboration tools to keep projects aligned across time zones.
  • Passion for Real-World Impact: Eager to tackle complex challenges in pipeline inspection and underground infrastructure. Able to design scalable solutions, anticipate issues before they arise, and contribute to meaningful technological advancements in a hands-on, field-driven industry.
