As a Senior DevOps Engineer, Identity Access Management (IAM) you will drive automation and innovation within the team. You will help us optimize our CI/CD pipelines and our cloud transition. You will also explore innovative tools and AI concepts. Together with other team members, you will shape the future of the R&D Access Management platform. Your solutions will provide the R&D business unit with a high quality, self-service, fully automated platform.


Your Responsibilities


As a member of the Identity Access Management (IAM) team you will be a key contributor for the development and improvement of the R&D Access Management platform.


  • Innovate around the Oracle Unified Directory/LDAP solution.
  • Be the Senior Technical Lead advising the organization on ways to improve on automation and helping to execute them.
  • Guide the building and maintenance of the self-service platform built on Python.
  • Steer the maintenance of CI/CD pipelines that help deploy the latest changes quickly.
  • Be in charge for automation and configuration management within R&D Identity Access Management.
  • Develop/maintain new components of the platform to manage data access, enforce policies, governance, etc.
  • Participate in the definition and maintenance of a secure access policy if and when required.
  • Work with other developers, operations staff, and other key stakeholders in the organization.


Your Profile


  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • 10-15 years relevant experience driving large DevOps implementations and operations.
  • Solid DevOps mindset and ability to evaluate and optimize DevOps processes and practice using Lean or Agile.
  • Very good understanding of LDAP, preferably Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).
  • Proficiency with maintaining automation and configuration management using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodeDeploy.
  • Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and server management and use tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible.
  • Great problem-solving and analytical skillset to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that may arise and use tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus to monitor and analyze the performance and health of the systems that you support.
  • Understanding of identity and access management relating to provisioning, access control, and certifications.
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Passionate about technology, innovation, cloud, DevOps, automation, CI/CD, Big Data, ML Ops, and technical creativity.
  • Solution-oriented, hands-on, and you drive for results.
  • Customer-centric, valuing the importance of working together with others to be successful as a team and part of a larger organization.


Your Team


The team keeps a healthy mix of 80% development and 20% operational activities. This requires a constant eye on innovation. You can contribute to every development phase (i.e., from problem analysis and design to implementation, testing, and bug fixing). You will receive support from your direct colleagues, a Scrum team of DevOps experts. You will get training and personal development opportunities from NXP in alignment with your personal and professional needs. The Product Owner, representatives from the R&D business, and other stakeholders will provide you guidance on the solution direction. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in an AWS cloud-based platform architecture.

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
