What You'll Do:
- Work with our customers and our delivery team to understand the business case being addressed with IoT, and the technical requirements
- Work closely with a Clearscale IoT Solutions Architect for discovery and design
- Prepare discovery questions as needed to clarify implementation details
- Build deploy IoT specific features using the AWS IoT services, and adjacent services
What You'll Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in IoT - building solutions that connect, manage, and analyze IoT devices and data securely and at scale.
- Proven experience with the AWS IoT services, and adjacent services:
- AWS IoT Core
- AWS IoT Device Management
- AWS IoT Device Defender
- AWS IoT FleetWise
- AWS IoT Greengrass
- AWS IoT Analytics
- AWS IoT Events
- Amazon Kinesis
- AWS IoT ExpressLink
- AWS IoT 1-Click
- AWS Private 5G
- Amazon Timestream
- Amazon QuickSight
- Familiarity with IoT device firmware, hardware, edge devices, and connectivity options
- Familiarity with MQTT and other pub/sub IoT connection protocols, and MQTT brokers.
- Solid understanding of IoT security, app lifecycle, and performance optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with REST APIs and IoT payload structure
- English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ideally, You Also Have:
- One or more AWS Technical certifications
- Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Understanding of security best practices in IoT and cloud environments.
