Akiki's Holding is the parent company that works in the spirits and tobacco business as retailers, wholesellers & distributors, and manufacturers. We are looking for an HR position to oversee all company personnel, as well as hire and recruit new personnel.



Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our team and lead the HR function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies that foster a supportive, high-performance workplace. You will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring our company remains compliant, efficient, and a great place to work.


Key Responsibilities


  • HR Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company’s goals and local labor regulations.


  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, source top candidates, and coordinate the recruitment process. Implement retention initiatives and manage the onboarding and offboarding processes.


  • Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems, provide guidance on setting performance objectives, and manage career development pathways.


  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor, mediator, and facilitator for employee relations issues. Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and investigations.


  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage salary structures, benefit packages, and other rewards initiatives. Work with finance to maintain alignment with budget and compliance requirements.


  • Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and develop programs for professional growth and employee engagement.


  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Utilize data to track and analyze trends in hiring, retention, performance, and engagement, and use insights to inform HR strategies.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred but not required.


  • HR Expertise: 3+ years HR experience in a managerial or supervisory role. Deep understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.


  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with all levels of the organization.


  • Analytical Thinking: Competence in using HRIS platforms and HR analytics tools; strong data analysis skills to support data-driven HR solutions.


  • Knowledge of Lebanese HR Procedures: Experience and knowledge with the proper documentation of governmental Employee procedures.


  • Problem-Solving: Proven experience in conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and handling complex employee relations matters.
