Freelance Color & Graphic Apparel Designer – Marketing Focus (Part-Time, Remote)

We are looking for two experienced freelance designers to support the creation of color and graphic design concepts for a leading brand’s Marketing department. You will mainly design apparel for events and promotion.

This role is ideal for creatives with a strong background in corporate fashion and a deep understanding of current trends.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: May 15, 2025
  • Contract Duration: 6 months (with an option of extension)
  • Workload: Part-time (2–3 days per week)
  • Location: Fully remote, open to freelancers based in any EU country

About the Role:

This freelance opportunity involves developing design concepts specifically for promotional and event-related apparel—nothing commercial or retail. Projects include high-profile events such as international marathons and team packs for European organizations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Independently create color and graphic design concepts for men’s and women’s apparel, based on briefs provided by the Marketing team.
  • Deliver weekly design proposals, focusing on placed prints and all-over prints (AOPs), using Illustrator or Clo.
  • Attend weekly project updates via MS Teams, with feedback implementation based on professional expertise.
  • Create detailed tech packs to communicate final designs to development and manufacturing teams, including specs such as style sketches, color/material details, scale artwork, placement guides, and costing considerations.
  • Adjust and refine tech packs according to feedback from development teams and suppliers, ensuring feasibility and production-readiness.
  • Submit all design work for internal approval within specified timelines.

Required Expertise:

  • Solid understanding of the apparel design process, from concept to production.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of sportswear consumer trends.
  • Experience working on corporate fashion projects, preferably in the sportswear or promotional apparel sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Clo.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow remotely.
