We are looking for an experienced Senior Laravel Developer to join an international project for a high-profile client. This is a contract position for an initial duration of 6 to 12 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. You will be working remotely with a distributed team across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Laravel.
Collaborate with cross-functional international teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and PO.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Integrate APIs and third-party services.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and regular retrospectives in an Agile environment.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP.
Proficient in RESTful API development and integration.
Strong experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, database architecture, and query optimization.
Familiar with front-end technologies (Vue.js, React, or similar) is a plus.
Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
Experience working in remote and distributed teams.
Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision
