Back-End Blockchain Engineer - High-Frequency Trading - Amsterdam

A leading high-frequency trading firm based in Amsterdam is seeking a new Back-End Blockchain Engineer to join their growing Crypto team. This individual will be responsible for developing real-time trading systems, developing low-latency solutions for DEX trading, developing and implementing on and off-chain solutions, developing event-driven microservices, and developing automation solutions.

Resonsibilities:

• Develop architecture for real-time trading systesm
• Develop low-latency DEX trading solutions
• Develop and maintain on and off-chain solutions (indexers, market-making bots, smart contracts, etc)
• Develop and implement APIs to integrate with DEXs, Defi Protocols, and Liquidity Pools
• Design and implement event-driven microservices for real-time blockchain transaction processing
• Maintain blockchain-based back-end systems - ensuring reliability, availability, and security
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement innovative new solutions

Requirements:

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ Years experience with Software Development
• Proficiency with one of the following: Python, Rust, Go, Java
• Experience in DeFi development
• Strong blockchain knowledge
• Experience developing smart contracts with Solidity and/or Rust
• Experience working on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience working with containerization tools (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of blockchain security
• Exposure to real-time data processing
• Experience working with on-chain data analysis and indexers
• Knowledge of MEV strategies
