Business Intelligence Developer in CANADA

Robert Half are seeking a skilled BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.

This BI Developer contract opportunity will require the successful applicant to work on-site in Edmonton, AB and is being offered with an initial term of 3-months, with potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a data warehouse.
• Optimize queries and improve database performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Strong SQL and database management skills.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
