Role overview:

We’re looking for a talented Senior Motion Designer to bring stories to life through engaging animations and eye-catching visuals. You’ll be responsible for producing polished, dynamic motion content based client briefs and reviewing AI generated content on visual harmony or accuracy.

What does day-to-day look like::

• Develop video and motion graphics assets that align with Turings' creative standards and project objectives.
• Conceptualize, design and animate motion graphics for videos, social media content, product explainers, UI animations, and more.
• Experience in concept art, layout and blocking, as well as 3D modeling, texturing, shading, and lighting to create visually strong compositions and enhance mood, depth, and storytelling in motion graphics.
• Add animation polish – using easing, timing, and visual finesse to elevate work from good to great.
• Adapt and animate static designs or illustrations into compelling animations.
• Review AI-generated videos to check if they match the intended artistic style.
• Define & apply evaluation criteria for motion graphics across various thematic styles (e.g., Battle Royale, Baroque, Kawaii etc.)
• Evaluate the consistent preservation of identity in video content by assessing attributes such as skin tone, gender, age, dynamic poses, body shape/size, and hair over time.
• Define & Implement a systematic rating framework to ensure consistent evaluations of style expression and identity preservation across relevant attributes.
• Supervise the evaluation output of junior designers (for both creation and evaluation work) and ensure timely delivery

Candidate Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in motion design or animation.
• Proficient with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and ideally Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of timing, rhythm, visual hierarchy, and motion principles.
• Able to conceptualize, storyboard, and bring ideas to life independently or with a team.
• Experienced in animation techniques, including coloring, shading, and transitions.
• Proven experience as a seasoned motion graphic designer with a portfolio that showcases creative expertise
• Detail-oriented with an eye for clean, crisp, and modern motion styles.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to feedback or shifting priorities.
