Location: Fully Remote (South Africa)

Working Hours: UK Hours (Monday to Friday)

Salary: R35,000 per month


Job Overview

Remote Recruitment is seeking a talented and innovative UX Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences that meet our clients' needs and goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize user interfaces, conduct usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, motivations, and behaviors.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Perform usability testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Optimize designs based on data and user feedback to enhance usability.
  • Stay updated on UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and client expectations.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven work experience as a UX Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
  • Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
