Job Description
• Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues and outages promptly.
• Prepare detailed network diagrams and documenting network processes and changes for future reference
• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis.
• Maintain and develop dashboards for network assets in Service-Now, will be able to collaborate with existing SNOW team on this
• Support network solutions including switching, routing, software defined networking, circuit management/telecom connectivity.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
Experience
This is first and second level NOC Engineer (3-5 years experience). Tickets in queue, review, remediate or escalate Manage periodic software/firmware upgrades of network infrastructure and provide handle reactive and proactive problem tickets.
• SQL for data mining.
• Tools such as SolarWinds and/or NetBrain etc...
• BIG PLUS: Create dashboards using PowerBI that serves the needs of a NOC
