Location: Fully Remote UK

Job Type: 6 Month Contract + chance for extension

Interview Process: Video Interviews held remotely

Rate: DOE Outside IR35


A Consultancy we are working with have won a bid for a project with a retail client who plan to improve their current AI infrastructure (chatbots, and demand forecasting). This is an exciting opportunity to make a clear impact to business goals.



AI Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise AI-powered recommendation engines, chatbots, and virtual assistants to enhance customer experience and personalise interactions.
  • Create predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory management, and dynamic pricing to optimise retail operations and reduce costs.
  • Build machine learning models for fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and account security to prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Design AI-driven marketing tools, customer segmentation models, and automated A/B testing to improve targeting and ad performance.
  • Implement computer vision and NLP models for visual search, product description automation, and retail analytics to optimise product discovery and store layouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions across marketing, operations, customer service, and sales.



AI Engineer Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, visualisation tools, and big data technologies (e.g., SQL, Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques, including NLP, recommendation algorithms, and computer vision.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
