A leading Global Investment Bank is on a hiring drive to build out its Java Software Engineering teams to support the design and implementation of new solutions for their FX and Equity Trading Platforms and Applications. There are multiple positions open for different levels of seniority - and requirements and responsibilities will vary depending on the candidate seniority. Generally, these are the requirements and responsibilities expected of successful applicants:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality scalable and maintainable Java software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies
• Participate in code reviews
• Develop secure solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data
• Implement unit testing to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish key business objectives
• Help ensure that the business is utilizing the latest and greatest technologies and methodologies

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Java programming
• String knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with multi-threading and performance tuning
• Experience designing and implementing micro-service architecture
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure principles (Kafka, GraphQL, etc)
• EU Citizenship
