Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining Palo Alto firewall systems to ensure optimal security for our network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT and security teams to troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues, perform regular updates, and implement security policies. Must be experienced running Palo Alto with Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewalls.
• Monitor firewall performance and address any security vulnerabilities or incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in the creation and enforcement of firewall security policies.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure network security standards are met.
• Provide documentation and reports on firewall configurations and incidents.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration and management.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network security issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
