About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust automated testing for our core banking services — including payments, transfers, and transactions — while contributing to platform-wide test initiatives. This is an opportunity to shape and scale our test automation setup and make an impact on critical systems powering Vivid’s financial products.
Your Mission
Design, implement, and maintain E2E and integration automated tests for core banking systems.
Refactor and migrate existing automated tests from Go to Kotlin.
Drive the consolidation of test setups across multiple teams into a unified test framework.
Collaborate with developers and QA peers to ensure high-quality releases and identify testing gaps early.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline stability and test reporting using Allure TestOps.
Optionally contribute to manual testing when needed, based on personal initiative.
Your Profile
4+ years of experience in test automation, preferably in backend-heavy or platform teams.
Strong programming skills in Kotlin or Java.
Experience with Allure TestOps or similar tools.
Solid understanding of integration and E2E testing strategies for distributed systems.
Experience working with REST/gRPC APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
Fintech or banking experience is a plus.
Comfortable working autonomously and defining testing priorities independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
