Backend developer in INDONESIA

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to help Voxloud build a global Unified Communications and Collaboration platform for SMBs.

Voxloud is the business phone system made simple for SMB's that want to be as professional on the go as they are in an office: fast to activate, easy to use and affordable. The company is growing fast and there is an increasing demand for creative, agile and high quality work from our engineering group.

We believe in using the best technology for the task. Our applications run in Docker containers. Our planning and delivery processes are agile and loosely based on Scrum.

Right now we’re improving the customer experience for first-time users, we’re scaling our telephony systems to handle 100 times our current processing capacity and we’re investing in our infrastructure for improved resilience.

The opportunity

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to help us re-imagine how business phone systems look and work.

We need an individual who shares our desire to build high-quality products that put customers at the forefront of our development. As a member of our engineering team reporting to our CTO, you will build and improve our products, add new features, and work closely with other teams across the company to define our engineering roadmap and to understand what is most important to the customer. 

You will work on:

• Microservices ecosystem: you'll help in evolving existing microservices and putting the basis to create new ones
• Integrations: you'll develop new integrations between Voxloud and Third-party services
• Public API: you'll give your contribution to implementing public-facing APIs
• Dev Ops: you'll be responsible for the code you develop as we completely embrace the "You build it, you run it" philosophy 
• Code reviews: you'll give and receive advice for the source code in the projects you are involved

The role

• You will be part of a distributed cross-functional team, and you will be a driving force behind key technology decisions that affect the entire organization.
• You will be frequently consulted in technical challenges involving Backend development
• You will continuously bring business context to key engineering decisions and help make the right trade-offs between the business requirements and the technical design considerations.
