Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Be responsible for People management and consultancy for Lufthansa Technik Group in Canada, including Lufthansa Technik locations in Calgary and Montreal
  • Serve as People Management’s strategic and operational business partner for Lufthansa Technik’s regional Executive Management
  • Steer and implement global and regional Lufthansa Technik People strategies related to all Lufthansa Technik locations in Canada
  • Guide, challenge and facilitate the business expansion of the Lufthansa Technik Group in the region from a People strategic perspective
  • Develop, execute and monitor quality and performance indicators (KPI’s); measure services received from internal and external service providers
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

The ideal People Manager must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional senior People (HR) Consultancy and/or Management experience in Canada required
  • Regional experience desired
  • Strong experience in dealing with Senior Management on VP level and above required
  • Aviation / MRO Industry experience advantageous
  • Leadership skills are desirable but not required in the beginning
  • Fluency in English and French language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge in HR management; Comp & Ben; Employee relations and recruitment required
  • Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Success Factors as user
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must possess permit to work in Canada
  • CV/Resume required
