About the Role

Our client is recruiting for Senior Product Managers to join their growing team. Product Managers at our client ensure that goals turn into actions by creating compelling product visions, developing product roadmaps, writing user stories, and managing them in a prioritised backlog.

As a Senior Consultant, specialising in Product, you’ll be an expert in your field, experienced in agile practices, and a confident coach. You’ll also be a leader of people and teams, advocating for user-centred design approaches. Our client will provide exciting opportunities to share your expertise with, and influence, clients and team members while continuing your development as a leader.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

  • Inspire and guide colleagues by helping them understand the client’s needs, explaining the broader context, and securing buy-in.
  • Provide team leadership, protecting your team from unwanted distractions, allowing them to focus solely on delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders to create a project vision and translate it into a roadmap and prioritised backlog.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, including subject matter experts.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver work on behalf of one of our client’s high-profile projects.

About the Candidate

Our client values people above all else. They’re a diverse and close-knit community united by a love for solving complex problems for clients and users. They take a common-sense approach to getting things done, learn from experience, and adapt. They stay curious and never stop learning.

Although our client doesn’t require certificates or qualifications, they need candidates who can demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Lead a team of specialists in their respective fields.
  • Identify and use evidence of value to drive decision-making, ensuring the user is at the heart of the team.
  • Build consensus among people with different perspectives and make decisive decisions when necessary.
  • Bridge the gap between stakeholders and the team to keep the focus on delivery.
  • Find pragmatic and creative solutions to balance constraints like policy and security, while prioritising work to meet user needs.
  • Perform well in various delivery disciplines (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Communicate confidently and credibly on behalf of the company and clients.
  • Lead workshops and group exercises, both remotely and in-person.
  • Build product and user-centric capabilities in others, helping colleagues and clients know what to do when you’re not around.

Benefits

Our client offers a range of benefits, including:

  • Contributory pension scheme (6% from our client, with employee contributions of 2%).
  • 25 days holiday plus UK public holidays.
  • Perkbox access for a wide range of discounts.
