WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- Actively participate in each stage of the software development lifecycle - implementation, testing and operating your code in an agile environment.
- Play an active role in the development, testing and deployment of the systems which are used by thousands of colleagues in our fulfilment centres and help to reliably ship millions of parcels to our customers all over Europe.
- Continuously ship high-quality code and build reliable distributed systems using event-driven microservice architecture. Support and Consult others teams in the department to build new automation and processes.
- Iteratively build and test features to improve the efficiency and productivity of business processes in our state-of-the-art fulfilment centres equipped with cutting-edge automation systems.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE…
- Experience with JVM-based languages like Java or Kotlin and a basic understanding of building RESTful API’s and Relational Databases.
- A foundational understanding of data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods
- A curious and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to apply logical thinking to tackle challenges.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, and you’re eager to grow while working in a supportive team environment.
- Experience in data structures and NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Knowledge about event-driven communication as well as knowledge of design principles and patterns are a plus
- Some experience of utilising Kubernetes tools as a bonus, as we are working with infrastructure based on it.
