MLOps Data Engineer (relocation to the Netherlands) in PORTUGAL

We are looking for an MLOps Data Engineer who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in the Netherlands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and squads to streamline the process of taking ML models to production, maintaining, and monitoring them.
  • Design, develop, qualify, deploy, and support/maintain scalable machine learning workflows and operational platforms.
  • Prepare specifications, test plans, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and project timeframes.
  • Develop and automate ML pipelines for model creation, training, deployment, and updates.
  • Maintain technical documentation, and conduct presentations to stakeholders on system architecture and functionality.
  • Study technical feasibility and provide accurate estimates for solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5–10 years' experience in systems development.
  • Strong Python programming skills with experience in frameworks and tools.
  • Professional expertise with ML operationalization tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Kedro, or Airflow.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra), including data modeling.
  • Experience designing and automating CI/CD pipelines (GIT/BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible Tower).
  • Proficiency with containerization (Docker) with at least 6 years' experience.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web server technology, REST APIs, and deployment stacks (Apache, Tomcat).
  • Hands-on scripting capability (Unix Shell or RHEL commands).
  • Knowledge of coverage and code analysis tools and platforms (Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, Nexus).
