As a Backend Developer at Trackian, you'll join our innovative remote-first dev team to design, develop, and scale robust backend systems and APIs powering our SaaS platform. You'll leverage modern JavaScript, Node.js frameworks, and cloud-native technologies to build scalable, reliable solutions—actively shaping the future of marketing intelligence.

✅ Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services using Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js) and TypeScript.

✅ Architect and implement secure, high-performance REST APIs and microservices.

✅ Manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), ensuring optimal data integrity, security, and performance.

✅ Collaborate closely with frontend developers to deliver cohesive user experiences.

✅ Leverage Docker and container orchestration tools to deploy and scale applications effectively.

✅ Implement messaging solutions, queues, and broker systems to handle asynchronous operations efficiently.

• ✔ 4+ years professional experience with JavaScript (ECMAScript 6+).
• ✔ 2+ years of professional TypeScript experience.
• ✔ 3+ years designing and building REST APIs.
• ✔ 2.5+ years with Node.js (Express.js or similar frameworks).
• ✔ 4+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• ✔ Docker and Docker Compose expertise.
• ✔ Experienced with Git, CI/CD workflows, and best development practices.
• ✔ Solid understanding of queues, message brokers, and async workflows.
• ✔ Basic working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React.js/Angular).
• ✔ Proficiency with unit/integration/e2e testing methodologies.
• ✔ Strong communication skills and fluent technical English.

• 🌟 Nest.js experience.
• 🌟 Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery.
• 🌟 Familiarity with ETL processes, data lakes, data pipelines, and DBT.
• 🌟 Experience in Microservices architecture.
• 🌟 Knowledge of messaging/pub-sub platforms (RabbitMQ, BullMQ, Apache Kafka).
• 🌟 WebSockets (Socket.io), GRPC.
• 🌟 Kubernetes orchestration.
• 🌟 Caching solutions (Redis).
• 🌟 Frontend testing automation tools (Cypress.js, Puppeteer, Playwright).
• 🌟 Strong interest or practical experience in Machine Learning (LLMs, RAGs, Agents).
