Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior ASP.NET MVC (C#) Developer to join our development team as a full-time contractor. In this remote role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create and enhance features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an ASP.NET MVC Developer.
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
- Understanding of web services and APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Understanding and application of object-oriented design patterns.
