Product manager (FinTech) in MALTA

We are looking for a Product Manager to take the lead in shaping, developing, and launching an innovative financial super app. In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and operations teams to create a product that meets market demands while adhering to financial regulations.

Role is open in Limassol, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the next-generation FinTech application offering multi-currency accounts, payments, budgeting tools, and financial services.
• Conduct market research, analyze competitors, and engage with users to identify key needs and industry trends.
• Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive seamless product development and ensure timely releases.
• Work alongside compliance and legal teams to guarantee adherence to financial regulations (KYC, AML, PSD2, GDPR, etc.).
• Partner with UX/UI designers to craft user-friendly and engaging experiences.
• Oversee the integration of third-party financial services, such as payment gateways, FX platforms, and investment products.
• Lead go-to-market strategies and coordinate product launches with marketing and business development teams.
• Track key product metrics, analyze user feedback, and refine features to boost engagement and retention.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management within FinTech, banking, or payments industry.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, digital banking, and the payment ecosystem.
• Proven experience leading the development of mobile applications and API-driven platforms.
• Ability to thrive in an agile environment and oversee end-to-end product development.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of data security, fraud prevention, and financial risk management is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Upper-intermediate level of English (both verbal and written).
