About Ingrid Capacity

Ingrid Capacity facilitates the electrification of society and the transition to fossil free energy as the leading Nordic actor in building large-scale energy storages. We are in a rapid growth phase with a historic expansion of energy storage in Sweden while also expanding internationally. We expect to continue to grow rapidly in the coming years, by scaling both in new geographies and new technologies of flexible energy assets.

Do you want to join our exciting journey and contribute to the green energy transition? Electrification and the transition to fossil free energy create fantastic opportunities – for us as individuals, as a company and for society at large.

About the team

At Ingrid Capacity, our data team builds and maintains an in-house optimization engine using machine learning to maximize battery efficiency within the grid. We also focus on creating a data-driven culture by building data pipelines and a Business Intelligence layer to provide stakeholders with actionable insights. Our team plays a key role in driving strategic decision-making and overall company success, and we work closely together to ensure a smooth transition of ideas from concept to reality. At Ingrid Capacity, we foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where everyone’s voice is valued. We believe in empowering our team members to make a real impact.

What you’ll do

As an Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be a key player in building and implementing our MLOps infrastructure from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to design and develop efficient and scalable solutions for model training, deployment, monitoring, and management, all contributing to a sustainable future.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and Implementing a Robust MLOps Infrastructure: Tailor the infrastructure to our specific needs and objectives, ensuring it's built for scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaboration is Key: Work closely with DevOps engineers to create consistent workflows and establish effective CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to ensure a seamless transition of machine learning models into production environments, where you'll also be involved in deployment, monitoring, and management.
  • Automating the Machine Learning Lifecycle: Develop and maintain automated pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models, such as Vertex AI.
  • Ensuring Transparency and Performance: Implement best practices for version control, model reproducibility, and experiment tracking. Monitor model performance and health in production, implementing automated alerting and anomaly detection mechanisms.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date on emerging MLOps technologies, tools, and best practices. Contribute to the development of the organization's MLOps strategy and roadmap.

Who you are

Are you a passionate individual with a strong foundation in technology and a desire to make a difference? We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make a real impact, and accelerate the green shift.

Here's what will set you up for success:

  • Technical Skills: Experience in software engineering, machine learning, DevOps, and cloud computing is a major plus. Knowledge of Python, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is essential (experience with various tools is a bonus!).
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: You're someone who takes ownership, makes sound decisions, and enjoys seeing projects through to completion.
  • Collaborative: We value a collaborative and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership and make independent decisions while working effectively with others.
  • Learning Agility: The MLOps landscape is constantly evolving, and we value your ability to stay up-to-date and embrace new technologies.

A degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates. We're more interested in your passion, skills, and drive to make a difference!

How Ingrid Capacity facilitates the green transition

As our societies become more electrified and switch to climate-smart and fossil free energy, both great opportunities and challenges arise. Energy storage is necessary to manage the electrification, and electrification is necessary to manage the climate challenge. Large-scale battery energy storage will be a key part of the energy infrastructure of the future.

Our storages take care of electricity when there is surplus, then tapping it back to the system when there is shortage. Right now, we are laying out a historic expansion of energy storage in Sweden.

At Ingrid Capacity, we are therefore not just employees; we are pioneers, visionaries, and catalysts for change. We are at the forefront of the global energy transition, dedicated to reshaping the future of power generation. Our company is more than a workplace; it is a platform for innovation, where we dare to push boundaries and turn bold ideas into reality
