We are seeking a highly accomplished and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our innovative team, spearheading the development and evolution of our cutting-edge chat virtual assistant. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and a profound understanding of user-centric design principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from conception and design to launch and ongoing optimization.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a comprehensive product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and execution.
- Elicit, analyze, and prioritize user needs and requirements through a variety of techniques, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, utilizing industry-standard methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Create and manage comprehensive product backlogs, meticulously tracking progress and adapting priorities based on evolving market dynamics and user feedback.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
- Champion user experience (UX) best practices, actively participating in the design and development process to ensure an intuitive and engaging user interface.
- Rigorously test and validate product functionality, performance, and usability, identifying and resolving any identified issues.
- Effectively communicate product updates, progress reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders at all levels.
- Continuously monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Compétences et expérience requises
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- 3 + years of demonstrable experience in a product owner or product management capacity within a technology-focused organization.
- Substantial expertise in process flow mapping techniques, employing tools such as MS Visio or similar diagramming software.
- Proven ability in designing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX), with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Extensive experience in conducting user testing and incorporating user feedback into product development iterations.
- Proficiency in applying design thinking principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and practical experience working within Agile teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Jira or Asana for task management and progress tracking.
- Prior experience with Chatbots or GenAI; working for an Operations team will be an asset.
