Intermediate .NET Developer
About the Role
Our client is looking for Intermediate .NET Developers to join their growing team. As an Intermediate .NET Developer, you will work within multi-disciplinary teams to build, support, and maintain user-centred digital solutions that deliver real value across public and private sector projects.
You will act as a technical consultant, providing expertise in software engineering best practices, contributing to high-quality development, and supporting collaborative problem-solving efforts within your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software for a variety of public and private sector clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to explore, design, and implement solutions to client challenges.
- Design and manage software development and deployment pipelines, proactively resolving issues.
- Present prototypes, solutions, and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your team and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the engineering team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with the full development lifecycle for user-centred digital solutions.
- Expertise as a full-stack developer with:
- .NET6 / .NET Core
- C#, F#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Node, React, Angular).
- Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
- RESTful API services experience.
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, TDD).
- Experience designing and building native and web applications across different platforms.
- Azure and DevOps experience.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools (highly desirable).
- Previous experience on GOV/NHS projects (highly desirable).
