We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee all aspects of technology operations at our luxury resort in the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT services, maintaining security standards, and enhancing guest experiences through innovative technological solutions. This role requires a hands-on professional with expertise in hospitality technology, network infrastructure, and IT security.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and upgrade network systems, servers, and hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures to safeguard guest and business data.
- Guest & Staff Support: Provide IT support for guests and employees, ensuring smooth operation of all digital services, including Wi-Fi, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and in-room technology.
- Hotel Management Systems: Manage and maintain Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and other hospitality applications.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with the resort's business goals, ensuring continuous technological improvements.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Oversee IT-related budgets, procurement, and vendor relations to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and best practices.
- Training & Development: Train and educate staff on IT policies, cybersecurity awareness, and new technology implementations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, PMS, and POS systems.
- Experience with cloud computing, VoIP systems, and IT disaster recovery planning.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment and provide excellent customer service.
